Who this is
This site is Mollie Manhattan Studios, operating from Mississippi in the United States. I am the only person who reads what comes in.

What gets collected
If you talk to the voice agent on this site
The agent is an AI. It is not me, and it says so. When you speak to it, your audio is processed and turned into text so it can answer you, and a recording and a transcript of that conversation are made. You are shown a notice and asked to agree before the conversation starts. If you would rather not be recorded, don't use it — everything it can tell you is written on these pages too.
If you call the studio phone line
Calls are answered by AI assistants and are recorded and transcribed. You are told this at the start of every call, before you say anything.
If you use the contact form
Your name, your email address, your message, and which page you sent it from.
If you join the email list
Your name and your email address, and nothing else.
Automatically, because the site has to load
My host keeps standard technical logs — things like your IP address, browser and the pages requested. That is how a website works.
This site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no pixels, and I do not build a profile of you. The voice agent and the email sign-up box are supplied by the companies named below, and each may set its own cookie or store something in your browser to work properly. Those are the only ones here.
Why
- To answer your question, whether you typed it or said it out loud
- To reply to you, and to arrange and fulfil an order if you decide to buy
- To send you news about new work, only if you asked for it
- To keep the site working and to see plainly where the agent failed to answer, so I can fix it
I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. Not now, not later.
Who else touches it
I use a small number of companies to run this. Each one only handles the part it needs to, and each has its own privacy policy.
- ElevenLabs — runs the voice agents on this site and on the phone line. It processes the audio and the transcripts.
- Twilio — carries the studio phone number.
- Netlify — hosts this website and receives contact form messages.
- MailerLite — holds the email list.
How long it is kept
- Voice conversations and phone calls — the audio, the transcript and any personal details in them are deleted after thirty days. That is set on the agents themselves, not left to memory.
- Enquiries that did not lead to a purchase — about two years, then cleared.
- Orders — kept as long as I need them for tax records and for looking after a piece you bought.
- The email list — until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the bottom of any email I send.
What you can ask me to do
Email me and I will do any of these, free, within thirty days:
- Tell you what I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Withdraw a consent you gave — including for a recorded conversation
- Take you off the email list
I will not ask you why, and asking will never affect how I treat you as a buyer.
A note about the voice agent. It answers only from what I have written for it. It is not a counsellor and it is not a person. Please don't share anything in a conversation with it that you would not want written down — including payment details, which it will never ask for and cannot take.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent me something, email me and I will delete it.
If this changes
If I change how any of this works, I will change this page and move the date below. The version here is always the one in force.
